Shop Assistant

About the role

We are seeking someone to join our team at Swimart Gladesville, coming on as a Casual Position as a Shop Assistant.

We are looking for someone with our without experience in the pool industry that most importantly has a positive attitude and is willing to learn. Training will be provided on the job.

Certain level of physical fitness will be required as you will need to carry up to 20kg bags and 15L drums including hand unloading deliveries. We do have trolleys that can be used

What you'll be doing:

• Every-day customer service, being a friendly face to greet all customers that come into the store

• Interpreting water tests and guiding customers on what they require for the pool

• General maintenance of the shopfront

• Carrying chemicals to the customer's car which includes 20kg salt bags and 15L chlorine drums.

• Restocking the shelves and stock room

• Ordering and receiving stock

• Understanding your limits and following health and safety guidelines
