We offer the full spectrum of building services from fit-out and refurbishment through to large scale new build structures and their associated infrastructure packages across multiple sectors, including education, health, aged care, apartments and mixed-use developments, retail, performing arts and recreation, heritage, and industrial facilities.
In our pursuit to provide excellent quality and service, EMCO are seeking an experienced HSE Advisor to join our team. The role is site based across multiple commercial building projects in the Perth metropolitan area.

The ideal candidate will be able to:
Inspect and identify HSE issues across all site activities
Investigate and report HSE incidents and implement action to prevent re-occurrence
Challenge and address HSE issues in a professional manner, and to elevate to a manager when necessary
Manage HSE aspects of subcontractor works
Understand plant and equipment requirements for project delivery and have knowledge of the key risks associated with these and how to manage them effectively
Deliver toolbox meetings to site personnel & sub-contractors as required
Assist site with sub-contractor inductions
Take ownership for creating a safe working environment
About you:
Formal qualifications in Occupational Health & Safety (minimum Certificate IV Work Health and Safety)
Construction Industry White Card
First Aid & CPR
Working knowledge of HSE legislation and requirements
Current driver's license.
Sound communication skills
Working knowledge of Breadcrumb & Procore
Minimum 3 years WHS experience with a building company
Diploma/Degree would be desirable but not mandatory
