Electrical Engineer / Quality Engineer

Role DescriptionThe Electrical Engineer / Quality Engineer is responsible for supporting electrical engineering activities while ensuring products, systems, and processes meet defined quality, safety, performance, and regulatory requirements. The role involves developing and reviewing electrical designs, conducting testing and inspections, analyzing technical and quality issues, and implementing corrective and preventive actions. The position works closely with engineering, manufacturing, suppliers, and project teams to identify risks, resolve defects, improve processes, and maintain consistent quality standards. Responsibilities also include technical documentation, quality monitoring, root cause analysis, testing procedures, and continuous improvement initiatives.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Quality Engineering, or a related discipline.Understanding of electrical engineering principles, circuit design, electrical systems, testing methods, and relevant technical standards.Knowledge of quality management principles, inspection procedures, quality control, and process improvement.Familiarity with quality standards such as ISO 9001 and relevant electrical or industry-specific standards is an advantage.Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, specifications, and technical documentation.Knowledge of testing, measurement, inspection, and troubleshooting techniques for electrical systems and components.Understanding of root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and failure analysis.Familiarity with quality tools such as FMEA, 8D, SPC, Pareto analysis, and basic statistical methods is an advantage.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with engineering, testing, or quality management software.Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.Ability to identify non-conformities, investigate technical issues, and recommend effective corrective actions.Strong communication and teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate across engineering, production, quality, and supplier teams.Strong commitment to safety, quality, compliance, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
