The role:

Join the fast-growing team at Locale Civil! Permanent opportunities for VESI/VEDN-accredited Plant Operators across Melbourne and West Melbourne delivering essential utilities projects with a high-performing metro-based crew.

Your everyday:

Safe and precise excavation on underground power networksConduct trenching, backfilling, and site preparation with accuracyWork in accordance with VESI regulations and company safety proceduresComplete daily pre-starts, daily diaries, JSEAs and safety reportingWork collaboratively with ground crews, supervisors, and project managers.

Must Have:

Current VESI/VEDN-accreditationPossess relevant WorkSafe competencies or accreditation certificates relevant to plant/machineryDemonstrated experience in plant operation on underground utility networks.Possession of a current Driver’s LicensePossession of a current Heavy Rigid (HR) LicenceConstruction Induction (White Card).
