Blue Collar Recruiter

At PCH Civil, our people are our greatest asset. As we continue to grow across civil construction, mining and crushing projects throughout Western Australia, we're looking for a passionate Blue Collar Recruiter to take ownership of our blue-collar recruitment function.

This is more than a recruitment role. You'll become the go-to person for attracting and securing the operators, trades and site personnel that keep our projects moving. Working closely alongside one of our Directors, you'll have the autonomy to shape recruitment processes, build talent pipelines and influence how we attract the best people in the industry.

About the Role

Reporting directly to the Human Resources Manager you'll take ownership of end-to-end blue-collar recruitment across the business.

You'll work closely with Project Managers, Construction Managers and operational leaders to understand workforce requirements, source quality candidates and ensure vacancies are filled efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end recruitment process for blue-collar roles across the business.

• Develop proactive talent pipelines for operators, trades, supervisors and site personnel.

• Partner with operational leaders to understand workforce requirements and hiring priorities.

• Source candidates through multiple channels including advertising, referrals, networking and direct sourcing.

• Coordinate interviews, offers, pre-employment checks and mobilisation.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates throughout the recruitment process.

• Continuously improve recruitment processes and identify new sourcing strategies.

• Maintain accurate recruitment data and reporting through our HRIS and recruitment systems.

• Represent PCH Civil professionally within the market and promote our employer brand.

About You

You'll be an experienced recruiter who enjoys operating in a fast-paced environment and understands what makes great blue-collar talent.

You'll bring:

• Previous experience recruiting blue-collar employees within civil construction, mining, resources or heavy industry.

• Demonstrated experience managing end-to-end recruitment.

• Strong knowledge of trades, operators, mobile plant and site-based roles.

• Previous operator or on-site experience highly regarded.

• Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.

• Confidence working closely with operational leaders to influence hiring outcomes.

• Strong organisational and administration skills with exceptional attention to detail.

• Experience using recruitment systems or HRIS platforms.

• A proactive approach and the ability to work autonomously.

• Current C-Class Driver's Licence.
