The Role:
Kempe Engineering are seeking to employ an apprentice Mechanical Fitter to start in our Portland based workshop.
You’ll be working across Fitting services within our workshop including repairs, installation and commissioning — in our workshop. As you develop your skills, you’ll work towards completing your Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade, fully supported by our experienced team.
Requirements:
A self-motivated, reliable and punctual attitude
A strong commitment to workplace safety and correct use of PPE
Genuine commitment to completing your apprenticeship and study requirements
Good problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail
A customer-focused mindset and willingness to go the extra mile
Strong organizational and team working skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a dynamic, close-knit team
Hold a current driver’s license
A good level of physical fitness and ability to pass a pre-employment medical
