Capability Realisation Manager (Defence)

The opportunity We're seeking applications from Capability Realisation Managers to support a Defence network uplift program in Canberra. This role blends technical and engineering assurance, capacity and demand forecasting, connectivity solution design, and Commonwealth capability uplift; tracking Target State achievement across the program while building sustainable APS capability as it matures.
What you'll doProvide independent technical and engineering assurance across contracted deliverablesCoordinate and assure configuration management across project streamsDevelop, assess and assure connectivity solution plans and approval artefactsMaintain and assure Capability Target State deliverables, including schedule impact assessmentDevelop and maintain the Capability Realisation Plan (CRP) and related engineering artefactsManage capability, capacity and demand forecasting, including cloud scalability modellingSupport engagement with modelling vendors, Defence stakeholders and international partnersDraft and implement a Training Plan to uplift Commonwealth APS capability
What we're looking forDemonstrated experience across technical assurance, capacity planning or engineering governance on complex programsUnderstanding of configuration management and capability target state frameworksExperience producing assurance and governance artefacts for senior decision-makingPrior Defence capability or acquisition environment experience
