We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our aged care team, delivering high-quality clinical care and support to our residents. In this role, you will oversee care plans, administer medications, monitor health conditions, and collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the wellbeing, comfort, and dignity of every resident.

About you

We are looking for an empathetic and dedicated professional who demonstrates the following qualities:

• A genuine passion and commitment to delivering exceptional aged care.
• The ability to build trust and effectively lead, coach, mentor, and support both unregulated care workers and care and lifestyle staff.

In this role, you will champion safe, high-quality, and resident-focused nursing care by:

• Conducting comprehensive clinical, social, and self-care assessments.
• Anticipating changes in residents’ health and initiating further assessments or appropriate referrals.
• Supporting residents and their families by addressing questions, feedback, or concerns with empathy and professionalism.

You will be responsible for compliance:

• Ensuring all care documentations are completed with the appropriate strategies implemented.
• Identifying and managing clinical risk in the aged care setting.

Your role within the team would involve:

• Supporting, coaching, monitoring, and mentoring the unregulated care workers.
• Providing support to the Clinical Nurse Manager and clinical expertise to the care team.

We need you to possess the following accreditation, skills and working rights:

• A current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Clinical experience and ability to manage risk in aged care.
• A sound understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards and quality management systems.
• Full Australian working rights and be able to pass a national police clearance.

Located in the heart of the Como community, Aegis Balmoral provides high quality care services in a secure and friendly living environment. Caring for up to 214 residents, this modern purpose-built Facility supports our residents’ every need and enables choices in daily living activities.
