About the role
We are seeking a highly skilled Welder/Boilermaker to join our team in Campbellfield, VIC. This full-time role will be responsible for fabricating and welding to the highest standards. As an integral part of our team, you will play a key role in delivering our exceptional service to customers.
What you'll be doing
Fabricate and weld a variety of metal components and structures to specification
Operate welding equipment, including MIG and TIG welding
Perform repair and maintenance work on trailer and truck bodies and components as required
Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards
Collaborate with the team to meet production targets
What we're looking for
Proven experience as a Welder/Boilermaker, preferably in the trailer or automotive manufacturing industry
Excellent welding skills, with experience in both MIG and TIG welding techniques
Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
Ability to work effectively within a team environment
Forklift licence and experience operating workshop machinery is highly desirable
Must hold permanent resident status to be eligible for this position
Trade certificate in welding/fabrication required
Minimum 1-2 years welding experience required
