About Us:

MAC 4x4 is a leading 4x4 workshop located in Cockburn Central. We are the Perth Offroad Animal warehouse, supplying all of Offroad Animal's awesome gear to Perth. We are a small but expanding team, with the business recently (1 year ago) under new management. We are a small but busy workshop with room to expand and grow every day. We are open Mondays to Fridays 8am till 4:30pm with NO SATURDAY WORK!

Becoming a part of a small 4x4 workshop crew. Professionally installing 4wd accessories. You will need to work independently, manage your workload and take ownership of each job from start to finish, while maintaining a strong focus on quality workmanship and customer experience.

What the role consists of:

• Completing installation of all products supplied by MAC 4x4, including but not limited to, bull bars, rear bars, side steps, suspension & lift kits, spotlights, roof racks, UHFs, electrical components, towbars and much more.

• Working in a team environment, whilst also having the ability to work unsupervised.

• Maintaining a clean and productive workshop.

• Building customers dream vehicles.

• Complying with Australian Standards and workplace safety requirements.

About You:

• At least two (3) years of relevant experience and/or qualifications in mechanical, auto electrical or a panel beating role

• Automotive 12V electrical experience/knowledge including electrical fitting, wiring, and installation of components on vehicles including testing of lighting systems, control panels, sensors, and ancillary equipment, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose issues (preferable)

• Mechanical aptitude (preferable)

• Knowledge of 4x4 systems, vehicle modifications, and aftermarket accessories

• Understanding of vehicle suspension systems and correct installation procedures

• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand and power tools

• Able to read and follow manuals: fitting instructions, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings

• Ability to think on how to solve issues and create solutions promptly

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

• Efficient work ethic to finish tasks within the expected period

• Willingness to learn, improve and grow in the role

• Must hold current driver’s licence

• Have your own general tools to complete required work

Remuneration:

This is subject to your skills, qualifications and experience, but it will be within a salary range of between $38 – $42 per hour.
