What You'll Be DoingReporting to the Financial Controller, you will play a critical role in delivering accurate financial reporting, compliance, governance, and business insights across the Manassen Group and Sunbeam Foods businesses. Acting as the 2IC to the Financial Controller, you'll help ensure the integrity of financial information while identifying opportunities to improve processes, controls, and reporting outcomes.Lead month-end reporting and financial analysis activitiesPrepare and distribute monthly reporting packs and management reportsProvide variance analysis and commentary on results and expensesEnsure balance sheet integrity through effective reconciliation governanceManage the Fixed Asset Register and capital expenditure reportingOversee GST, BAS and related compliance obligationsSupport compliance requirements including Payroll Tax, FBT, Workers Compensation, ABS reporting and treasury activitiesCoordinate external audit requirements and statutory reportingAssist with budgeting and forecasting processesDrive continuous improvement initiatives and strengthen internal controlsBuild strong relationships with stakeholders across the businessProvide support to the Financial Controller as required during periods of leave or absence
What You BringCPA or CA qualificationDegree in Accounting, Commerce or related disciplineMinimum 5 years' experience in a similar post-qualified accounting roleExperience working within a multi-divisional organisationAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups and complex formulasStrong financial reporting and compliance experienceExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsSound commercial acumen and analytical capabilityA continuous improvement mindset with strong problem-solving skillsThe ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
