Dental Receptionist

About the role

As our Dental Receptionist, you will provide exceptional service to our patients while supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the practice.

Key responsibilities

• Welcoming patients and providing outstanding customer service
• Answering phone calls and responding to enquiries
• Scheduling and coordinating patient appointments
• Processing payments and health fund claims
• Managing patient records, recalls and correspondence
• Liaising with dentists, dental assistants and other team members
• Maintaining patient confidentiality
• Completing general reception and administrative duties

• Has excellent communication and customer service skills
• Is warm, approachable and professional
• Is organised and able to manage multiple priorities
• Has strong attention to detail
• Is confident using computers and learning new software
• Works well both independently and as part of a team
• Has a positive attitude and a genuine interest in helping others
• Is reliable, punctual and willing to learn
