Nurse Educator - Metro North Mental Health

Temporary part time opportunity to be accountable at an advanced practice level for the design, implementation, and assessment of nursing education programs, managing educational resources, and providing nursing expertise related to educational issues within Metro North Mental Health – Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital (MNMH-RBWH).

About the role

Temporary part time opportunity to contribute to the coordination of educational programs and resources, including the Nursing Transition Support Program, ensuring a smooth integration of nurses into clinical practice.

About you

• Provide leadership within a legal, professional and ethical framework that ensures contemporary consumer/person centred care and staff management practices.
• Integrate nursing and healthcare knowledge, skills and ability by supporting an evidence-based learning environment and participating in learning activities/opportunities for self and others.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop, implement, monitor, deliver and evaluate education programs, ensuring alignment with the strategic priorities of Metro North Health Nursing and Midwifery.
• Facilitate the delivery of cost-effective quality consumer/person focused care through the development, implementation and maintenance of education and professional development programs and activities for nursing.
