HC/MC Driver

About the role

Nortrans' is seeking an experienced HC / MC Driver to join our busy road transport team in Townsville, QLD. As a full-time Driver, you'll be responsible for safely operating heavy commercial vehicles to deliver goods across the region. This is a hands-on role that is crucial to our continued success and growth.

Key responsibilities

• Safely operating HC and MC class vehicles to transport goods and materials
• Loading and unloading vehicles as required
• Completing necessary paperwork and documentation accurately and on time
• Maintaining the cleanliness and roadworthiness of your assigned vehicle
• Adhering to all relevant road laws, safety regulations and company policies
• Communicating effectively with the operations team and customers

About you

• A current HC or MC driver's licence with a clean driving record
• Demonstrated experience operating heavy commercial vehicles
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to safety
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience with Side loaders is an advantage
