Job description:

The Opportunity

We are looking for an Environment and Sustainability Advisor to join our award winning team. We have an exciting pipeline of works and a supportive and inspiring team that is truly passionate about what they do.

Any given day may see you…

• Supporting Site Supervisors, Environment & Sustainability Manager and Regional Managers in implementation of environment and sustainability through mediums such as Toolbox talks and internal messaging.
• Work with traditional owners and stakeholders on site to manage impacts on cultural values.
• Assist field employees and subcontractors with appropriate controls for waste and discharge water management.
• Identifying key environmental risks and developing appropriate controls and communication for inclusion in work planning activities.
• Assisting with the development and implementation of environmental programs, initiatives and innovations.
• Investigation of incidents and working with field employees and contracts to determine appropriate actions and mitigation.
• Creating and implement relevant environmental and cultural heritage management plans

Profile description:

Here's what we are looking for…

• A person who excels in collaborating in project teams and has a passion for complex and major infrastructure projects.
• Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Management, Environmental Engineering or Environmental Science.
• At least 3 years experience in a similar role delivering civil infrastructure projects
• Demonstrated ability in proactively building relationships with key stakeholders and team members
• Demonstrated experience in effectively working with multidisciplinary teams
