Learning & Development Manager

Reporting into the Regional Director of HR, the Learning & Development Manager will lead the Australian L&D department and partner with our SEAPAC markets including Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand, to execute the global training strategy. This role will be based in our Melbourne Support Office and will require some travel across the regions.  We welcome applications from candidates seeking either part-time or full-time employment.

What you can expect:

• Work closely with the Head of Global Retail Training to ensure the SEAPAC training strategy is in line with the global direction of building organisational capability
• Manage all training budgets for Australian
• Lead a team of 2 experienced Retail Training Managers
• Coach and mentor the training leads in SEAPAC on the execution and implementation of training plans
• Liaise with local and regional stakeholders to identify training opportunities and implementing recommendations to improve operational performance and business results through training
• Measure ROI of all training projects and initiatives 
• Conduct regular TNA to determine suitable training recommendations
• Lead the delivery of all retail training conferences and support office workshops

Your profile:

• Extensive experience in learning & development, preferably in retail
• Exceptional presentation, verbal and written communication skills
• Proven stakeholder management experience
• Demonstrated leadership experience
• Accreditation in behavioural profiling eg DISC/HBDI (desirable)
• Experience working across the APAC region will be highly regarded
