Assembler/ Mechanic (Trucks)

 About the Role

As an Assembler, you will be responsible for carrying out a range of assembly and accessory fitment tasks on vehicles, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard of workmanship. You will work closely with team members and supervisors to support production targets while maintaining a strong focus on quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and assemble vehicle accessories and components in accordance with work instructions.

• Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.

• Conduct quality checks on completed work to ensure customer and company standards are met.

• Read and follow assembly instructions, technical drawings, and specifications where required.

• Identify and report defects, faults, or safety concerns.

• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment.

• Work collaboratively with team members to achieve production schedules and targets.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the operation.

About You

• Has previous mechanical, automotive, assembly, or trade-related experience.

• Possesses strong practical and hands-on skills with the ability to work with tools and equipment.

• Demonstrates a high level of attention to detail and pride in their workmanship.

• Is committed to working safely and following established procedures.

• Has the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

• Demonstrates reliability, a strong work ethic, and a positive attitude.

• Holds experience in vehicle accessory fitment, automotive repairs, manufacturing, or similar industries (highly regarded but not essential).

• Driver’s licence would be essential.

• Mechanical Qualification or experience in relevant industry
