About the Internship

This 12-month Surgical Internship is part of the nationally recognised Greencross Intern Program, designed to support your transition into specialist surgical practice in a vibrant teaching hospital environment.

As a Surgical Intern, you will:

Assist in surgical consultations, diagnostics, and proceduresParticipate in perioperative patient care and surgical roundsEngage in journal clubs, case presentations, and hospital-wide multidisciplinary roundsCollaborate with specialists across disciplines including Internal Medicine, ECC, Neurology, Oncology, Anaesthesia, and moreReceive structured mentoring and progressive clinical responsibilityWhat We Offer

You are a motivated, professional and enthusiastic veterinarian who:

Is eligible for veterinary registration in VictoriaHolds a current radiation licenceHas strong communication skills, a solid medical knowledge base, and a great work ethicHas clinical experience (desirable but not essential)Internship Details
