Private School Bus Driver - Dural

The Role:

CDC is seeking experienced and customer-focused Private School Bus Drivers to join our growing team at our Dural Depot. This is a permanent part-time opportunity offering 30 hours per week, with regular opportunities for additional hours and extra work available.

As a Private School Bus Driver, you will operate premium branded coaches and be entrusted with the safe and reliable transportation of students to and from school. You will take pride in delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and punctuality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering a prompt, safe and reliable transport service
• Carry out pre departure checks and reporting mechanical defects
• Drive effectively and efficiently while ensuring passengers safety and comfort
• Identify, address and report unsafe or unhealthy conditions, practices or behaviour in the workplace
• Maintain up to date knowledge of road laws and company policies
• The responsibility of collecting correct fares, issuing tickets and checking passes
• Accurately completing recording procedures such as daily journals, time records, customer loading data and fuel and charter records

Skills, Attributes and Experience which are essential to succeed in this role:

• Have or willing to obtain a Heavy Vehicle Licence (MR and above)
• Have or willing to obtain a NSW Bus Drivers Authority
• Have or willing to obtain a Working with Children Check
• Provide your current RMS driving history
• Knowledge and understanding of Work, Health and Safety Practices
• Always act SAFELY
• Have excellent CUSTOMER SERVICE skills
• Have excellent COMMUNICATION skills
• A positive, proactive approach and be well presented at all times
• Provide an Australian passport/current Australian working status
