Truck Driver - MR/HR - Glass & Aluminium Industry

Fitout Glass + Aluminium is a well-established commercial glazing company servicing South East Queensland. We have a strong pipeline of work and a great team culture built around communication, teamwork and getting the job done properly.

We are based in Eagle Farm and are looking for a reliable, hands-on Truck Driver to join our team.

About the role

This is not a driving-only position.

You will be an important link between our factory and site teams, delivering finished glass and aluminium products to customers across Brisbane and regional Queensland.

Your day will include:

• Loading your own truck with finished glass and aluminium products

• Delivering products safely and on time to metro and regional sites

• Unloading and manually handling glass and window products on site

• Ensuring loads are secured correctly and delivered without damage

• Assisting the factory team with organising products for upcoming deliveries

• Unpacking incoming materials and goods when required

• Working closely with our factory and site teams

• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised truck and work area

About you

We're looking for someone who:

• Has experience loading, unloading and transporting manufactured products

• Has glass & window handling experience – highly regarded

• Holds a current HR licence and has solid driving experience

• Has a good driving record

• Is physically fit and comfortable with manual handling

• Works well in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

• Is reliable, punctual and takes pride in their work

• Has good communication skills and presents professionally

• Can take direction and adapt when priorities change

• Understands the importance of safety and looking after customers' products

Don't have an HR licence but are the right person for the job?

Important

This is a physically demanding role involving regular manual handling of glass, windows and aluminium products.

Previous glass and window handling experience is preferred, but full training will be provided to the right person.

Successful applicants will be required to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing.
