About the role
Help Shape Shellharbour's Future Growth
Support Council's development contributions programs that help fund the infrastructure and community facilities needed for our growing city.
Working closely with the Growth Planning Team, you will provide administrative, research and customer support across a range of initiatives, including Development Contributions Plans, Voluntary Planning Agreements and Works In Kind Agreements.
In this varied role, you'll assist internal and external stakeholders with development contributions enquiries, maintain databases and records, undertake research and investigations, prepare reports and correspondence and support public exhibition activities.
You will also contribute to process improvements and help ensure the accurate management of information that supports the planning and delivery of Shellharbour's future growth.
About you:
You're an organised and detail-oriented professional who enjoys working with information, providing high-quality customer service and supporting positive outcomes for a range of stakeholders.
With strong communication, administrative and problem-solving skills, you can manage competing priorities while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
You'll bring experience in a busy office environment, confidence using business systems and Microsoft Office applications, sound judgement and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Experience or knowledge of local government, development contributions, database management, research activities or studies in a related field will be highly regarded.
