This fixed term position is for the Relief Pool at NWRH to primarily provide cover on Medical, Surgical, Children's and Emergency wards/department. As such, applicants who have a minimum of two years post graduate experience, preferably having completed a Transition to Practice programme, should apply. We will be looking for an RN that can demonstrate adaptability to work between the various wards. Our permanent pool staff are rostered on a fully rotational shift basis, to cover short notice gaps. There are full-time hours available, and these can be split between successful appointees, if necessary.
Strengthens health outcomes through the provision of safe quality, clinically appropriate nursing care in partnership with patients/clients, their families and other health professionals.

Fixed term full time, shift worker (fully rotational) position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing from as soon as possible until 10 January 2027.
*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
$80,524 to $109,175 per annum (pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
Access to the Grade 4 salary range $102,439- $109,175 is subject to successful application for progression to Grade 4
In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:
You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
