Day & Night Shift Operator - Manufacturing

What You Will Need

Previous experience in a quality assurance environmentValid Forklift License Strong mechanical aptitudeDemonstrate a knowledge and understanding of safety in the workplaceAbility to use computers for the entry and retrieval of process data and machine operationStrong interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skillsAll successful candidates will be required to undertake a pre-employment medical including drug & alcohol screening.

You will be flexible and open to work across rotation shift Pattern / 4 on 4 off

2 x 12hr day shifts – 6am-6pm, followed by / 2 x 12hr night shifts, 6pm-6am

As a Machine Operator, you will hold a valid Forklift License and bring experience from a similar manufacturing environment. You’ll also have a willingness to learn the trade and develop the skills needed to succeed in the role.

What The Role Involves

Operating concrete mixing, stacking and splitting machinesSetting up and installing molds and other machine fixturesSetting grinding and cutting edgesCarry out work in a safe manner, in accordance with Safety procedures as applicableEnsure process efficiencies are achieved and maintainedEnsure production is in line with the specified production scheduleEnsure product quality is in accordance with relevant specifications and that process checks are performed as requiredActively participate in improvement projectsManual Handling tasks are performed as part of this roleBe flexible and adaptable with a willingness to embrace shift workComplying with all WHS safety practices and procedures
