Production Assistant

EnviroStraw, founded in 2011, is an Australian owned and operated business. A market leader in providing proven revegetation solutions to commercial sites throughout Australia. Our award-winning revegetation and erosion-control products are all created right here in Australia at our Strathmerton factory.

Who we are looking for:

We are seeking a motivated individual with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn, to join our small production team at our new Strathmerton factory , with the main focus of assisting with blending, mixing and packing of our products. 

This is a full time position for day shift Mon – Fri (some weekend work may be required on rare occasions). You will report directly to the Production Manager. This is a great opportunity to join our award winning company. 

Key responsibilities:

• Assist with batching and mixing of raw materials 

• Maintain a clean and tidy work area

• Operate forklift and telehandlers

• Assist with routine maintenance on production line and equipment

• Maintain a clean and tidy work area

• Receiving and dispatching stock/finished products

To be considered for this role you will have:

• Be healthy and physically fit.

• Current forklift license or willingness to obtain

• Work well within a small team

• Basic computer skills 

• Good literacy and communication skills

• Good time management and organisational skills

• Previous manufacturing experience an advantage, however training will be provided
