About Us

Ocius Technology is an Australian company dedicated to developing and deploying cutting-edge Uncrewed Surface Vessels (USVs). Our vessels harness wind, solar and wave power to remain at sea collecting vital data for Defence and Civilian applications. We are under contract with RAN, RNZN and USA and are responding in an agile way to an ambitious program of building and deploying multiple USVs for operations across Australia and beyond.

About the Role

As the   Facilities Manager at Ocius you will manage maintenance, contractor management, facilities projects, site planning, building improvements and refurbishment, compliance, security access controls, audits, safety coordination, workplace Services and operational and office Support.  

This role is a great opportunity for an energetic and team focused facilities expert to ensure we have top class facilities that comply with the relevant regulations to enable us to produce our word class USV's as we embark on our rapid scale up journey.

About You

•  Trade qualification

• Hands on and practically minded

• Team focused, adaptable and you think on your feet.

• Able to be on site at Mascot Monday to Friday.

• Demonstrated experience in facilities management

• Strong working knowledge of WHS, building code, fire safety, HVAC and regulatory compliance, with proven risk and issue management. 

• Proven ability to coordinate maintenance activities, contractor works and facilities projects within operational environments. 

• Proactive approach to identifying issues, escalating risks and implementing practical solutions. 

• Strategic facilities planning capability, forecasting space needs, developing costed options, and engaging effectively with landlords and internal stakeholders.

Due to the nature of our business, we require Australian Citizenship for all roles. In this role you would need the ability to obtain and maintain a baseline security clearance (do not require a clearance before commencing).
