Architectural Draftsperson (Revit)

About the role

Baobab Designs is seeking an experienced Revit Draftsperson to join our growing architectural and building design practice. We work across a diverse range of commercial, industrial, residential, community and renewable-energy projects throughout Western Australia and interstate. We are looking for someone technically capable, organised and confident producing accurate architectural documentation within a collaborative team environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality architectural drawings and construction documentation using Revit.

• Develop models and documentation from concept design through to construction issue.

• Produce plans, elevations, sections, details, schedules and general arrangement drawings.

• Incorporate mark-ups and design changes accurately and efficiently.

• Coordinate architectural documentation with structural, civil and building-services consultants.

• Review drawings for accuracy, consistency and constructability.

• Maintain Revit model standards, templates and drawing presentation.

• Assist with resolving documentation and coordination issues.

• Manage allocated tasks and meet agreed project deadlines.

About you

• Minimum five years' professional drafting and documentation experience.

• Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit.

• Strong experience preparing detailed construction documentation.

• Sound knowledge of Australian construction methods, materials and detailing.

• Familiarity with the National Construction Code and relevant Australian Standards.

• Ability to interpret consultant drawings and coordinate multidisciplinary information.

• Excellent attention to detail and document-quality control.

• Strong time-management and organisational skills.

• Clear communication and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
