Internal Office Sales - Building Hardware and Timber

About the role

Colli Timber and Hardware is seeking an experienced Internal Office Sales professional to join our team in Perth, Western Australia. This full-time position will see you playing a key role in supporting our builders, contractors and trade customers with all their hardware and timber needs.

What you'll be doing:

• Providing exceptional customer service to a diverse range of trade customers, including builders, contractors and home renovators

• Processing customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely delivery

• Liaising with our warehouse and logistics teams to manage stock levels and distribution

• Building strong relationships with existing customers and identifying new business opportunities

• Providing product knowledge and guidance to customers to help them find the right solutions for their projects

• Maintaining detailed records and accurately reporting on sales activities

• Contributing to the continuous improvement of our sales processes and customer service

What we're looking for:

• Proven experience in an internal sales or customer service role, ideally within the hardware, construction or building supplies industry

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers

• Strong product knowledge and the ability to provide expert advice and guidance

• Exceptional organisational and administrative skills, with a keen eye for detail

• A positive, proactive and customer-focused attitude

• Proficiency in using relevant sales and customer service technology
