Oceanic Fabrication Pty Ltd is an established and registered company in Western Australia. Since established, we have been concentrating on providing professional aluminium services for the marine industry. We are now seeking for full-time Welders to join our growing team.

Job Type: Full-time

Duties/Responsibilities: For Welder

• Read blueprints and drawings; take measurements to plan layout and procedures.
• Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements.
• Set up components for welding according to specifications.
• Prepare and weld metal structures and components by using high heat equipment and welding processes such as MIG, TIG, and electric arc welding.
• Operate hand-welding and flame-cutting equipment such as oxyacetylene torch, electric arc machine, and robotic welding cells based on project needs.
• Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions (vertical, horizontal or overhead).
• Conserve resources whenever possible to ensure budgetary integrity and client satisfaction.
• Follow and enforce strict safety regulations such as wearing heat-resistant gloves, protective masks, and safety shoes.
• Assess welded surfaces, structures and components to identify errors.
• Test and inspect welded surfaces and structure to discover flaws.

Benefits and perks

An attractive remuneration package ($70,000 – $90,000) is offered for the right candidate depends on experiences.

Skills and experience

Ideal Candidate must have:

• Previous experience in aluminium welding
• Previous experience in building aluminium boats
• Ability to read and interpret drawings

Weld aluminium to high standard

• Hard working, enthusiastic and high attention to detail

Pay: $70,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
