Arndell Anglican College is seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Secondary School English Teacher to join our dedicated team from Term 1, 2027. This is an exciting opportunity for an educator who is committed to academic excellence, values strong relationships, and is passionate about helping young people develop a lifelong appreciation for literature, language and learning.

About the Role
The successful applicant will:
Teach Stage 4, 5 and 6 English classes.
Design and deliver engaging, high-quality learning experiences that cater to diverse learning needs.
Prepare students for NAPLAN, competitions and Higher School Certificate examinations.
Develop and implement effective assessment and feedback practices.
Contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement initiatives.
Foster positive student wellbeing and academic growth.
Participate fully in the life of the College, including pastoral care, co-curricular activities, camps and community events.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will:
Hold recognised teaching qualifications and current NESA accreditation.
Have experience teaching Stage 4, 5 and 6 English.
Demonstrate strong classroom management and contemporary pedagogical practice.
Be an effective communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
Be committed to the pastoral care and wellbeing of students.
Support and actively contribute to the Christian ethos and mission of the College.
Be an active member of a reformed evangelical Christian church.
