business development manager - electrical

I am currently partnering with a premier global leader in electrical products and installations to recruit a highly motivated Service Sales Specialist. My client's Service Division is dedicated to partnering with customers to improve the availability, reliability, predictability, and sustainability of their electrical infrastructure.

Based in Perth on a hybrid work model, this role offers the chance to drive service sales processes, generate new opportunities, and secure profitable sales within designated areas. Your daily activities will focus heavily on Installed Base (IB) penetration and selling the organization's comprehensive Service product portfolio. You will utilize your technical expertise to build long-term relationships with customers and ensure immediate responses to their specific needs and issues.

• Develop and communicate strategic business plans, drive growth initiatives, and identify market opportunities using IB insights and current market trends.
• Promote and sell the full service portfolio—including upgrades, retrofits, and value-add solutions—while expanding the company's footprint across target markets.
• Build strong, strategic customer relationships by understanding their needs, translating those into service offerings, ensuring satisfaction, and supporting overall lifecycle management.
• Manage the end-to-end sales cycle, which includes generating leads, maintaining CRM data, preparing proposals, monitoring sales pipelines, and conducting strategic sales visits.
• Take ownership of accurate pricing, risk assessment, and contract administration throughout the sales process.

• Deep expertise in Medium Voltage switchgear, Low Voltage systems, and Protection and Control systems, with experience spanning a wide range of market sectors.
• A strong, demonstrable knowledge of Perth’s industrial markets and customer operating environments.
• Hands-on experience in technical support and service delivery, with a strict adherence to OHS standards.
