About The Role:
Are you the kind of finance person who genuinely loves working with people to turn information into action as well as numbers, data and a well-built spreadsheet?
This Finance Business Partner role sits at the centre of decision making, helping leaders understand the story behind the numbers and make confident, practical and well-informed choices.
You will partner with managers and General Managers across assigned portfolios, supporting budgeting, forecasting, month-end reporting, variance analysis and financial advice that is clear, accurate and useful. You will help translate complex financial information into practical insights, strengthen financial literacy across the organisation and identify better ways of working that improve consistency, service delivery and outcomes for our community.
This is a role for someone who likes to get under the hood, solve problems, ask smart questions and get things done. You will combine strong technical finance capability with curiosity, collaboration and a customer-focused mindset, helping Financial Services deliver proactive, responsive and trusted support across Council.

About Our Team:
The Financial Services team are responsible for delivering an efficient and effective finance function for the organisation. Services include financial reporting, strategic management accounting, budgeting, long term financial planning, taxation and internal control.
The Detail:
The position is offered on a full-time, permanent basis and is classified at Level 7, with a salary range of $126,847 to $134,514 per annum + Super + Annual Leave Loading + three grace days at Christmas and working flexibly arrangements.
