Physiotherapy Allied Health Assistant (Paediatric) – ND Collective

ND Collective is a growing paediatric allied health practice supporting children aged 0–12 years with developmental delays, disability, and neurodivergence. We provide evidence-based, play-based, and family-centred therapy in clinic, schools, childcare settings, and the community.

We're looking for a compassionate and enthusiastic Physiotherapy Allied Health Assistant to work alongside our Physiotherapists, helping children build strength, coordination, confidence, and independence through engaging therapy programs.

• Deliver physiotherapy programs designed by our treating Physiotherapists

• Support children during clinic, school, childcare, and community-based therapy sessions

• Facilitate fun, play-based gross motor activities that build strength, balance, coordination, and motor planning

• Assist with therapy groups and school holiday programs

• Record session notes and communicate observations with the supervising therapist

• Prepare therapy resources and equipment for sessions

• Work closely with families and the wider multidisciplinary team

We're looking for someone who is:

• Passionate about supporting children and families.

• Kind, patient, energetic, and engaging.

• Confident following therapy plans and taking initiative.

• A strong communicator who enjoys working in a team.

• Committed to child-centred and neuro-affirming practice.

• Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance (or currently studying/qualified in Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Occupational Therapy or a related allied health field).

• Current Working with Children Blue Card.

• Current First Aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain).

• Current Australian Driver's Licence and access to a reliable vehicle.

• NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain).

• Experience working with children, particularly neurodivergent children or children with developmental delays.

• Experience supporting physiotherapy or gross motor programs.

• Knowledge of the NDIS and family-centred practice.
