Machine Operator / Technician

Our valued client, based in Dandenong, is a leading advanced manufacturing and processing facility specialising in sustainable packaging and plastic recycling solutions.
We are currently seeking a reliable and mechanically minded Machine Operator / Technician to join their growing team.

Location: Dandenong
Pay Rates:

• Day Shift (Training - 1 week): $38.85 per hour
• Night Shift: $50.51 per hour

About the Role:
The successful candidate will commence on day shift in a packing role for approximately one week to gain an understanding of the products and manufacturing processes. Following successful training, you will transition to the night shift as a Machine Operator/Technician.
 
Key Responsibilities & Requirements:

• Previous experience operating manufacturing machinery.
• Experience with machine setup, operation, adjustments, troubleshooting, and basic maintenance.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Competent in using hand tools, including Allen keys, spanners, and other basic mechanical tools.
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.

Essential Criteria:

• Current driver's licence and own reliable vehicle.
• Full working rights in Australia.
• Attendance at a mandatory meet-and-greet with the client prior to commencement.
