Assistant Store Manager

We’re looking for a highly engaged, hands-on Assistant Store Manager to support the day-to-day retail operations of our Hectorville store. You’ll partner with the Store Manager to lead the team on shift, uphold merchandising standards, and deliver outstanding customer experiences across beauty, health and community pharmacy.

Key responsibilities

• Lead by example on the shop floor; open/close and run shifts

• Support daily and weekly rostering; manage on-the-day adjustments

• Coach team members to deliver exceptional service and meet KPIs

• Maintain merchandising, ticketing and planogram standards

• Monitor stock accuracy, replenishment and shrink controls

• Ensure store presentation, safety and regulatory compliance

• Act as the Store Manager’s delegate when required

About you

• Experience as a 2IC/Assistant Manager/Senior Team Leader (pharmacy retail preferred)

• Strong communicator who builds positive relationships with team members, customers and suppliers

• Sharp attention to detail with solid stock control and merchandising skills

• Practical problem-solver who stays calm under pressure and keeps the store running smoothly

• Comfortable with POS systems and basic reporting; roster flexibility incl. weekends/public holidays
