About the role
We are seeking a reliable, motivated, and safety-focused Truck Driver / General Hand to join our team.
This is a varied, hands-on role that combines local metropolitan deliveries with general workshop and yard duties. It's an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a balance of driving, physical work, and being part of a supportive team.
Casual leading to full-time
Safely operate Prime Movers and Rigid Trucks for local and metropolitan deliveries, including the transport of oversize loads.
Load, secure, and transport freight in accordance with all relevant safety regulations and company procedures.
Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment, including forklifts.
Assist with receiving, storing, and organising stock within the yard.
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workshop and yard environment.
Assist with general workshop and yard duties as required.
Provide friendly and professional customer service during pickups and deliveries.
Complete pre-start vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
To be successful in this role you will have:
Current HC (Heavy Combination) driver's licence.
Current LF Forklift licence.
A clean and verifiable driving history.
A strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
Good physical fitness and the ability to perform manual handling and heavy lifting.
Excellent reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Consistent daytime hours with a great work-life balance.
