Head Chef

Silica Restaurant is seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our team.

What we're looking for

-Minimum 5+ years of professional cooking experience

 -Formal training or equivalent practical experience in a professional kitchen environment.

 -Advanced knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and flavour development across various cuisines.

-Proven ability to manage kitchen staff effectively, including delegation and communication.

-Strong understanding of food safety, health and hygiene regulations.

-Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure during service.

-Creative flair and passion for menu development.

-Cost control expertise and ability to manage kitchen budgets effectively.

-Experience working in a busy, high-volume restaurant or hospitality setting.

-Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with all team members
