Accounts Payable Officer

Join the Exact finance team in a part-time Accounts Payable role, working 3 days per week. 

This role will work closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure payment processes are accurate, compliant and run smoothly. 

Responsibilities include:

• Performing end-to-end accounts payable for the Group and JVs;
• Matching, coding, processing, and scheduling payment of invoices;
• Reconciliation of supplier statements and credit cards;
• Responding to AP requests and mail received in the Accounts Payable department;
• Liaising with internal requestors, external suppliers, the Finance team and Accounts Receivable;
• Liaising with operational colleagues on AP and Purchase Order issues;
• Assist with general ledger reconciliations as required;
• Adhoc support to the Finance team.

Role requirements:

• Prior experience in Accounts Payable;
• Working knowledge of Zudello and/or Sage Intacct (advantageous);
• Experience with purchase order matching and goods receipt processes (advantageous);
• Experience with high volumes of invoicing;
• Experience in general ledger reconciliations;
• Exceptional attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills;
• Proficient computer skills; including Microsoft Excel;
• Excellent time management and organisational skills;
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines;
• High level of motivation and initiative.
