About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Quality Control Inspector to join our team at our West Melbourne office.
Reporting to the Quality Manager, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the quality and compliance of products throughout the manufacturing process. You’ll be responsible for performing Quality Control inspections on incoming goods, in-process products and outgoing goods in accordance with approved inspection instructions and quality requirements.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced technical environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support quality outcomes and successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
In executing this role, you will be responsible for:
Inspecting incoming materials, in-process items, and final assemblies against drawings and specifications using measuring tools.
Assisting the Quality Manager in resolving issues CPAR’s, creating non-conformance reports, and performing First Article inspections.
Efficiently using the ERP systems to record inspections, and handle quality transactions.
Maintaining accurate inspection records and documentation using Microsoft Excel, Word, and company systems to ensure traceability.
Ensuring all files and records comply with Tectonica’s ISO 9001 Quality Management System requirements and document control procedures.
About You
To be successful in this role, you'll bring:
Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Science or a related field
Proven 2 years’ experience as Quality Inspector in a manufacturing or electronics environment
Intermediary proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
Excellent written and verbal communication
Ability to multitask, prioritise and adapt to changes
Australian citizenship or right to work in Australia
