Storeman/Truck driver

About the role

National Light Sources is seeking a Storeman/Truck Driver to join our team on a casual basis. This role offers flexibility and variety, combining warehouse management with driving responsibilities. Based in Penrith, NSW, you will play a key part in ensuring efficient storage, handling, and distribution of our products. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys both hands-on warehouse work and the independence of operating a vehicle.

What you'll be doing

• Receiving, checking and processing incoming stock and shipments

• Storing products safely and efficiently using appropriate warehouse management systems and practices

• Picking and packing orders according to customer requirements

• Operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment as needed - Forklift license ideal

• Loading and unloading vehicles with care and attention to safety

• Driving company vehicles to deliver products to customers

• Ensuring the warehouse remains clean, organized and safe at all times

• Following all safety protocols and company procedures consistently

What we're looking for

• A current, valid Australian driving licence with a clean record

• Previous experience in warehouse, storage or distribution environments

• Experience operating a motor vehicle for work purposes

• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification

• Ability to lift and handle items safely, with good physical stamina

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Must be reliable and punctual - Monday to Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm

• A strong commitment to workplace health and safety

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
