What does the job look like?

Due to continued growth at our distribution centre in Maddington, Perth, we are seeking an experienced HC Truck Driver to join our team. This is a long-term, full-time opportunity for the right candidate, working Monday to Friday day-shift, starting at 6:00 AM including regular overtime.

You’ll be responsible for multi-drop deliveries of palletised freight across the Perth metro area, ensuring goods are delivered safely, on time, and with a customer-first mindset. Key areas: 

• Safely operate HR and HC semi-trailer vehicles for local deliveries
  
• Strap and secure palletised freight using correct restraint methods
  
• Liaise with warehouse and dispatch teams to ensure timely deliveries
  
• Represent Linfox professionally with every customer interaction
  
• Comply with all OHS and dangerous goods handling procedures
  
• Complete delivery documentation with accuracy and attention to detail

• A current and valid HC license
  
• Hands-on knowledge of tautliner trailers and load restraint
  
• Demonstrated experience in multi-drop deliveries within the Perth metro area
  
• A flexible approach to working across different Linfox sites
  
• Confidence operating Electronic Pallet Jacks (EPJs), tailgates, and using straps and chains for load restraint
  
• Proven ability to perform manual handling tasks safely and efficiently
  
• A strong commitment to safe work practices and compliance
  
• Excellent communication and customer service skills — you’re the face of Linfox on the road
