About the role

An opportunity now exists for a CRM Data Specialist to join our Business Development team. This role can be located in our Brisbane, Melbourne or Sydney offices.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working with data, systems and people. You will play a key role in ensuring our CRM is accurate, complete and up to date, supporting the firm to maintain reliable client and contact information for relationship management and business development activity.

Working closely with the Business Development and Technology teams, you will help manage CRM data quality, support system use and contribute to practical improvements across CRM processes. You will also engage with partners, lawyers and other users across the firm to encourage consistent use of the system and support strong CRM outcomes.

What you’ll be responsible for

Manage data with precision
- Maintain accurate, complete and current client and contact information in the CRM.
- Monitor CRM data quality, identify and resolve issues, manage duplicates and support regular data cleansing and enrichment.
- Apply CRM data governance standards and support privacy and compliance requirements for client and contact data.
Support CRM reporting and insights
- Prepare CRM reports, dashboards and data quality metrics to support visibility of CRM usage, data quality and performance.
- Help identify trends, gaps and opportunities to improve the quality and reliability of CRM information.
- Contribute to reporting that supports relationship management and business development activity across the firm.
Be a trusted CRM super user
- Act as a day-to-day contact for CRM operational questions.
- Guide users on CRM functionality, data management and practical ways to improve CRM outcomes.
- Respond to user queries and coordinate support with training teams and vendors where required.
Drive adoption and continuous improvement
- Promote consistent CRM use and encourage adoption across the firm.
- Help train users and build understanding of how to use the CRM effectively.
- Support CRM projects, including enhancements, integrations, upgrades and data migration.
- Identify practical ways to improve CRM processes, data quality and system use.

What we’re looking for

You will bring strong CRM experience and a genuine interest in data quality, governance and system improvement. You will be detail-oriented, practical and confident working with stakeholders to resolve issues, improve data and support consistent CRM use.

You will also have:

Strong CRM experience, including CRM administration, data quality, data governance and client or contact data management.
A practical understanding of CRM platforms, relational databases and data quality principles.
Experience with enterprise CRM systems, which will be highly regarded.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities accurately and efficiently.
Experience preparing CRM reports, dashboards, data quality metrics or business insights.
Clear communication skills, with the ability to explain CRM requirements, data quality issues and privacy obligations in a practical way.
The ability to work independently, use initiative and constructively challenge where needed.
Experience with data cleansing tools, relationship intelligence tools, or qualitative or quantitative research, which will be desirable.
A relevant qualification in Business, Marketing, Communications, Information Technology or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
Professional services experience is preferred and legal sector experience will be desirable.
