TRANSPORT COORDINATOR – THE PERSON WHO KEEPS THE WHEELS TURNING

Complete Portables is WA's leading supplier of transportable buildings, and business is booming. To keep up with demand (and prevent our drivers from playing "guess where I'm going today"), we're looking for a Super Star Transport Coordinator to join our Operations Team at our Head Office in Wattleup.

Need to ensure all movements are completed in a timely and on time and cost effective manner, not going back and forth. Drivers are not to schedule we are. This is a role for someone highly organised who enjoys coordination and structure.

What You'll Be Doing

🚚 Planning, scheduling, and allocating daily transport jobs to our drivers, the key is scheduling it needs to run optimising the route using our transport management system.

📅 Keeping schedules running smoothly and adjusting plans when the unexpected inevitably happens

📞 Communicating with drivers, clients, and internal teams to ensure everyone knows what's happening and when

📝 Monitoring drivers throughout the day and driver records and ensuring compliance requirements are maintained

📊 Maintaining accurate scheduling, allocation, and performance records

🦸 Solving transport puzzles and operational challenges before they become problems

 What We're Looking For

Previous experience in transport scheduling or logistics coordination

Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities

Excellent communication skills and a calm approach to problem solving

Knowledge of Perth Metro and surrounding areas

Understanding of transport compliance and safety requirements

Experience using scheduling systems, particularly Point of Rental (Syrinx), and Microsoft Office

A good sense of humour – because not every day goes to Plan A
