We’re seeking compassionate Disability Support Workers to assist participants with daily living, personal care, and community access in Toowoomba. You’ll support people living with mental illness, intellectual, or physical disabilities — helping them live independently and achieve their personal goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality support in line with participant care plans

• Assist with personal care, including hygiene, dressing, and mobility

• Support meal preparation, medication prompts, and household tasks

• Promote independent living skills and daily routine management

• Facilitate community access — attending appointments, recreational, and social activities

• Encourage positive behaviour support and emotional wellbeing

• Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in line with NDIS standards

• Communicate effectively with participants, families, and allied health professionals

• Follow all safety, infection control, and privacy protocols

• Contribute to a supportive, inclusive, and respectful team environment

Requirements

• Certificate III/IV in Individual Support, Disability, or Community Services (students welcome)

• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check

• Driver’s Licence (own vehicle with insurance preferred)

• WWCC/Blue Card, First Aid & CPR, and National Police Check

• COVID-19 vaccination in line with current health directives
