About the role

Jackson & Cooper Plumbing is seeking a skilled Plumber/Maintenance Plumber to join our team on a full-time basis. As a Plumber/Maintenance Plumber, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems whilst maintaining our reputation for excellence and reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial properties

• Conduct routine maintenance inspections and identify potential issues before they become major problems

• Diagnose plumbing faults using appropriate testing equipment and implement effective solutions

• Fit and assemble plumbing fixtures, pipes, and fittings using hand and power tools

• Test plumbing systems to ensure they function correctly and meet quality standards

• Provide excellent customer service and communicate clearly about work required and timeframes

• Work collaboratively with team members and other trades on job sites

What we're looking for

• A recognised plumbing qualification or apprenticeship completion in plumbing

• Current registration with the relevant plumbing authority in Tasmania

• Understanding of building codes, regulations, and safety requirements

• Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work independently

• Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach

• A valid driver's licence and reliable transportation

• Valid WWVP Card.
