Sales Design Consultant – First-Floor Additions

We’re looking for an experienced Sales Design Consultant to join our market-leading first-floor addition company.

This is an exciting opportunity for a sales professional with formal home design training who can combine creativity, commercial awareness and excellent communication skills to help homeowners transform their homes.

The Role

You’ll guide clients from their initial enquiry through consultation, site visit and design concept, helping them understand what’s possible within their home and budget.

Key responsibilities include:

• Consult with homeowners to understand their needs, vision and budget.

• Conduct site visits and assess project opportunities.

• Develop and present design concepts.

• Prepare project briefs for our estimating team.

• Guide clients through materials, finishes and fixtures.

• Build strong client relationships and manage sales opportunities.

• Get Owners to commit to going ahead with design & construct offer you have negotiated with them.

About You

• 3+ years’ sales experience – home improvement, construction or design preferred.

• Formal home design qualifications/training is preferred.

• Strong design sensibility and understanding of spatial planning.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Customer-focused with strong commercial awareness.

• Highly organised and able to manage multiple opportunities.

• Strong understanding of residential construction.

• Australian work rights.
