About the role

Plastering Solutions Tas (PSTAS) is seeking experienced Commercial Plastering Tradesmen to join our growing team in Devonport, Tasmania.

This is a full-time position working across a range of commercial construction projects throughout Tasmania. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality plastering works while working as part of a professional and experienced trade team.

We are looking for tradesmen who take pride in their workmanship, are reliable, work well within a team and are committed to delivering projects safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

Key responsibilities

• Installation of metal stud wall and partition systems

• Installation of suspended ceilings

• Installation of plasterboard, cement sheet and other wall and ceiling linings

• Installation of fire-rated and acoustic wall and ceiling systems

• Set out and installation of wall and ceiling systems in accordance with drawings and specifications

• Working safely and efficiently within active commercial construction sites

• Maintaining a high standard of workmanship across all projects

What we're looking for

• Qualified Plasterer or demonstrated experience in commercial plastering

• Previous experience working on commercial construction projects

• Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship

• Experience with plasterboard, metal framing, suspended ceilings and associated systems

• Experience with fire-rated and acoustic systems is highly regarded

• Strong understanding of WHS requirements and safe work practices

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required

• Reliable, punctual and professional approach to work

• Physically fit and capable of working on construction sites, including at heights

• Current driver's licence

• Willingness to travel to project sites throughout Tasmania when required
