Experienced Dental Assistant

About the role

This is a fantastic opportunity to join the team at The Melbourne Smile Centre, a leading dental practice in the heart of Toorak, Victoria. We are seeking a full-time Dental Assistant to play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting the smooth running of our practice.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting the dentists chairside during procedures, ensuring the dental operatory is fully stocked and prepared

• Maintaining accurate patient records and updating patient information in our practice management software

• Sterilising and reprocessing instruments and equipment in line with infection control protocols

• Providing outstanding customer service and a positive experience for all of our patients

• Supporting the wider dental team with administrative tasks as required

What we're looking for

• Previous experience as a Dental Assistant with reception experience highly regarded

• Minimum of 1-2 years of dental assistant experience is required

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide warm and friendly customer service

• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail to maintain accurate patient records

• A caring, compassionate and professional approach when interacting with patients

• A commitment to continuously developing your skills and knowledge in the dental field

• Australian work rights are required for this position

• Experience with dental practice management software is required
