Patient Advocate (Reception team), a vital member of the team plays a key role in ensuring that patients and their families have a positive experience at their family practice.

Key responsibilities
Working as part of a team with the Practice Manager, ensure provision of exceptional support services to medical providers, nurses and patients
Access, co-ordinate and manage patient medical records with utmost confidentiality
Respond to telephone calls, patient triage and booking patient appointments
Ensure patients feel welcome, offer assistance when required and ensure they feel valued
Identify, record and process billing and fee payment instructions
Document scanning, managing communication channels including emails and general administrative tasks
About you
Prior experience as a Medical Receptionist preferably in a health care facility
Excellent communication, customer service, organisational and interpersonal skills
Proficiency and familiarity with medical software and IT systems including Microsoft office/excel
