About the role

Shire Air Conditioning is seeking an experienced Residential Air Conditioning Installer to join our growing team in Gymea, NSW. This full-time position is responsible for the professional installation of residential air conditioning units, ensuring exceptional customer service and quality workmanship. As a key member of our installation team, you will play a vital role in helping homeowners stay comfortable all year round.

What you'll be doing

• Residential and small commercial Air Conditioning installations, service and maintenance

• Plan and prepare installation sites, including all necessary work

• Safely and efficiently install split system, ducted and multi-head air conditioning units

• Conduct thorough testing and commissioning of installed units

• Provide clear instructions to customers on the operation and maintenance of their new system

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all relevant safety standards

• Collaborate with the sales and service teams to ensure a seamless customer experience

What we're looking for

• Formal qualifications in air conditioning or refrigeration, such as a Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration along with contractors license, Interest in progressing to Cert III electrical available,

• Minimum 2 years' practical experience in the installation of residential air conditioning systems

• Excellent problem-solving and fault-finding skills to quickly diagnose and resolve installation issues

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work

• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate technical information clearly

• A current driver's license

• The ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative installation team
