About the role
The Details:
Work within one of our eight internal Construction crews as a Construction Labourer at City of Moreton Bay, where you’ll play a vital role in maintaining and improving our community’s infrastructure
Working alongside experienced team members, you’ll be part of a close knit crew - typically made up of a Supervisor, Crew Leader and fellow Labourers - dedicated to delivering our internal Construction projects.
In this role, you’ll be involved in a variety of civil construction and maintenance activities, including stormwater drainage, road rehabilitation and landslip remediation.
Your responsibilities will include undertaking general labouring tasks, safely operating and maintaining equipment and building positive working relationships with your teammates to support successful project delivery.

About you
Ideally, you will have demonstrated experience in a range of civil construction activities, with a focus on general labouring tasks. You’ll also bring strong communication skills, with the ability to engage positively with a diverse range of people, interpret plans and specifications, and adapt to changing work environments - whether that’s working across different sites or learning new technologies relevant to the role.
Safety is a key priority for us. We are seeking candidates who not only have the knowledge and physical capability to safely undertake manual tasks, but who also have a genuine commitment to contributing to a positive safety culture.
In addition, you will hold a Construction Induction Card and a current driver’s licence (minimum C Class).
Employees appointed to this position are required to be fully vaccinated against Tetanus
